Call For Papers (Closed)

The 2008 Far Eastern and South Asian Meeting of the Econometric Society (FEMES-SAMES 2008) will be hosted by the School of Economics of Singapore Managment University in the central business district of Singapore. The program will consist of plenary, invited, and contributed sessions in all fields of economics.

Prospective contributors are invited to submit their papers electronically to the appropriate program committee member through the Conference Maker website.

Complete papers (with title, abstract and full text) must be submitted between September 30, 2007 and March 31, 2008.

Paper acceptance notification will be forwarded by email in mid April, 2008. Final versions of accepted papers must be uploaded to the conference website by May 31, 2008. Paper presenters also must register by that date. Each author may submit only one paper, or be a co-author in others, provided no author would present more than one paper. At least one co-author must be a member of the Society or must join (electronically at http://www.econometricsociety.org) prior to submission.

Partial subsidy is available for travel and local expenses of young economists presenting a paper in the conference. Click here to apply for this subsidy.
