To honour Professor Peter C.B. Phillips on the occasion of his 60th birthday, we are delighted to organise a conference at the School of Economics of Singapore Management University (SMU) on 14-15 July, 2008, preceding the Far Eastern Meeting of the Econometric Society (FEMES) to be held at SMU on July 16-18, 2008 . The conference will represent a gathering of leading experts in many areas of econometrics, drawing together co-authors, former students, close colleagues and associates of Peter C.B. Phillips and many of the researchers who have been influenced by his work. The conference will feature presentations of new, innovative and cutting edge research in the areas of Peter's primary research topics.
